SECURITY CHALLENGES IN SOFTWARE DEFINED NETWORKS

The search for better networking paradigms has fostered the emergence of Software Defined Networking (SDN), which is flexible enough to accommodate the ever-growing number of users. SDN offers network operators with significant visibility and granularity in their networks. However, with every new technology paradigm, its security concerns are a serious challenge. In SDN, the control plane is separated from the underlying forwarding plane and so it is prone to many security challenges like Denial of Service (DoS) attack, Distributed DoS (DDoS) attack, Volumetric attack, etc. Join us in an educational conversation on “Security Challenges in SDNs” on 8th October 2020 at 12 PM.
